Expedition Overview
Our journey through Morocco covered incredible ground, blending rich cultural experiences with ever-changing landscapes—from the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert. - Talassemtane National Park: Mountain views and waterfalls
The Ride
- Terrain: Pavement, mountain roads, gravel roads. We found the BEST off road routes in the north. Accidentally crossed a weed farm.
- Weather: Hot with the occasional downpour
What Stood Out
- Off-Bike Highlights: Tagine…at EVERY MEAL. Breakfast, lunch and dinner bread, in the sahara, the blue city, seeing where TONS of movies were made, crystal blue water in the middle of the desert. Watching locals expertly handle their trained cobras—an unforgettable and mesmerizing experience.
- Critters Spotted: Cobras, camels, dogs.
The Reality
What made it tough + how it was handled: We went to remote areas where women weren’t allowed to go out in public so anytime we went for dinner we had to travel with security.
