Expedition Overview

Tanzania delivered it all—wildlife, rugged off-road riding, and a loop around Mount Kilimanjaro. Add in torrential rain and river crossings, and it was the ultimate adventure.

The Ride

  • Terrain: Packed sand, paved road, dirt, gravel, two track roads, rocky trails and water crossings
  • Weather: Sun and rain with torrential downpours

What Stood Out

  • Best Riding Moments: We thought that hill climb was a challenge until we saw the waist deep water crossing!
  • Off-Bike Highlights: The safari was epic!
  • Critters Spotted: Zebras, baboons, pink flamingos, giraffes, cats, dogs, cows, goats, frogs, turtles, rhinos, hyenas, ostriches, elephants, monkeys
