Expedition Overview

Our time in Vietnam was a wet and wild adventure, giving us a true taste of that famous Vietnamese mud. Through it all—rain, chaos, and even a few run-ins with the police—there were nonstop laughs. What a trip.

The Ride

  • Terrain: Pavement, mountain roads, Vietnam mud, gravel
  • Weather: Quite a bit of rain mixed with some sunshine

  • Best Riding Moments: Sliding in the mud and getting the bikes onto a boat to cross the river.
  • Off-Bike Highlights: Ha Long Bay & Ha Giang views

The Reality

What made it tough + how it was handled: The rain made for soggy boots and slippery mud but all the good attitudes made for an amazing time.
